I’m learning a lot about creativity and how it’s not just something you «pull out of the sky» or simply just spawn, but it is a result of inspiration and new thinking.
An idea is simply not created in
a vacuum.
Today I learned how to create shapes in Illustrator. Revolutionary, I know, but the basics are essential. So when I was tasked with creating an abstract face, I felt quite challenged. Abstract art and thinking are not my cup of tea. It went against all previous thinking and teaching I’ve had in the past. Is it pretty? I don’t really think so, but there might be a collector somewhere who might pay me a pretty penny for this magnificent piece of art.
Greater things are yet to come//
