Hi! My name is Eivind (or Ivin for native English speakers) and I live in the beautiful city of Ålesund.
I’ve always been attracted to the creative arts from a young age.
Either through music, photo, video, or design. As a kid, I would draw elaborate drawings with many things going on. As I grew older and discovered music and video, I put down the pencil and pursued other things.
I went to a work-focused school learning about media and communication. All through high school, I got the basics of design as well as a decent proficiency in many of Adobe’s apps.
I lived in Orlando Florida for six years and served with an NGO called Youth With A Mission. For a few years, I learned tons about creative work and marketing as well as how to work in teams with different nations, cultures and personalities. I did everything I could to get better at what I was doing.
When I moved home to Norway, I thought I might like studying Graphic Design. I spent some time going back and forth thinking about this. But here we are, a year and a half later! I’m jumping off the deep end to learn everything I can. My goal is to work full-time with brand and marketing strategy. I think this is my launch pad for more incredible things.
Now that I’m here and have become a student again, I have a mixed array of emotions. I sway between «Holy shit, what have I done» and «I haven’t done this before but I can probably master it». The thought of being a student again is exciting and scary at the same time.
Overall, I am optimistic about this and excited about the journey.
Greater things have yet to come.
